Oh what a small world! That's wild. She has a new book out (or forthcoming??) that also looks really good. I'd love to hear a conversation between the two of you.
I'm always glad when I read something you write. This, though short, and focussed on your favourite books of the year (if I'm honest, I skimmed the middle section because I'm not looking for new books to read, so just looked for ones I recognized), names something important for so many of us. "I came into January like a marathoner whose legs just gave out." Truth. Maybe that's why a gentle January (or at least a few days of January) resonated with me. I know I have a lot of running to do again up ahead, and rest between the legs of the journey is super important. Anyway - thank you, as always, for your beautiful writing.
Matt! So good to hear from you. I hope we can all find gentle moments, gentle words, gentle ways of extending ourselves to one another. Now and ongoing. :) I hope you're well!
I went to college with Cindy Lee and we lived on the same floor! I can't wait to read her book (and invite her to be on my podcast!)

Ok, that might be just the nudge I need to reach out!

Ooh! I want to hear about Our Unforming when we’re together next week! Sounds like a timely topic and one I am very interested in.
Ooooo yes. I think you would like the book.
Beautiful questions. Thank you. I look forward to pondering them with a cuppa later.
That sounds lovely 💙
