author q+a: Tasha Jun
join us for a live conversation with the writer of Tell Me the Dream Again
Hey. Hello. Just popping in with a quick invitation on this Tuesday.
In June, our Human Together summer book club read Tell Me the Dream Again: Reflections on Family, Ethnicity, and the Sacred Work of Belonging, a memoir by Tasha Jun. We met to discuss the book and name our takeaways, and that conversation was so rich. Plus, it was fun to see your for-real faces and hear your out-loud voices. You know…be human together.
Well, I’m so happy to tell you that tomorrow night we will have a special visit from Tasha herself for a live author interview and Q+A. We’ll chat about what it’s been like for Tasha to put some of her most tender stories into the world, why stories are important to our belonging, and what she hopes readers take away from her words. Plus, we will open the floor for your questions.
I would love for you to join us. Whether or not you read the book, you are welcome. All paid subscribers to Human Together have book club access and can pop in. Free subscribers can upgrade to join at anytime. (Note: if you would like to be a part of book club but upgrading is not currently feasible, click here to request a complimentary 3-month subscription. No questions asked.)
Book club is a fun way to facilitate these ongoing conversations about who we are, how we are connected, and all the ways our humanity leads us to God and each other right here in our everyday lives. I hope to see you there.
