creation, production, and paying attention to our capacity
"Production nags, “It all depends on you.” But creation sings, “It is good.”
The art of living in our skin is learning how to tell the difference."
Thank you for these beautiful words—they spoke to me so much today. Cheers for finishing up your manuscript over the next month. You've got this!
Godspeed as you write. We’ll be here praying you on.
The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.
So glad you have the wisdom (and courage!) to honor your capacity, my friend!
I needed to be reminded of this today. I’ll definitely be pondering this this morning: the difference between production and creation. I love this.
Wow, I loved this. Thank you! I'll be thinking about this this season!
I was pondering this same thing before I jumped into reading your newsletter! Wanting to re-unite with the delights of my book-world and not the nagging emptiness of not creating enough.
I've heard it said, we're human beings, not human doings =)
